Hello fellow travelers,
I thought I'd post a link to a recent essay I wrote regarding the passage through early mid-life. As I approach the age of 39 (not quite 40!), it becomes so clear that what Jung, James Hollis, and many others have written about the middle period refers to a collective, patterned experience wherein the "self" pushes back agains the constraints and false definitions we have forced it into. The piece is about this pushing back, and I hope that fans of Jung's writings on mid-life will find something to takeaway here.
Thanks everyone,
Matthew Thomas
