Online excerpt from David Abram's "Spell of the Sensuous"

Eco-philosopher David Abram is one of my favorite authors on the human relationship with the non-human world. He sums it up quite succinctly, stating, "We are human only in contact and conviviality with what is not human."

I also wrote a book review of his most recent book "Becoming Animal" for the Jung Journal a few months back which is currently available for download.
