I'm nearing retirement about 3.5 years, and am interested in applying to Pacifica Graduate Institute (PGI) for Masters program in Jungian and Archetypal Psychology. I've become aware that the institution is not accredited by the APA, and this has implications on acceptance on out of state licensing. Since I'm a CA resident this won't have local implications, but my plan would be to host a web site. This could attract out of state interest. Does anyone have experience in this arena and the legal implications.
Also, I would be interested in hearing about others experience at PGI, and the benefit received from the curriculum and instructors. When I attended Sacramento State University, it was an evening program where class and instructor were preassigned. This limited the concern for interviewing instructors for a "goodness of fit" prior to spending a semester in their classroom.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
