#455 – Sacred Journeys to Renewal with Jungian Analyst Rose-Emily Rothenberg
Rose-Emily Rothenberg, M.A., M.F.T., is a Jungian analyst in private practice in Pacific Palisades. A member of the faculty of the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles, she has lectured nationally and internationally on the topics of psyche/body and the orphan archetype. She has been a Jungian analyst for over thirty-five years. Rose-Emily’s new book, An Orphan’s Odyssey: Sacred Journeys to Renewal, provides an illustrated case study of the individuation process. Following two excursions to Africa, Rose-Emily actively engaged with the animal and plant worlds. By processing and amplifying their meaning, as well as through the examination of her dreams, visions, and active imaginations, she was able to retrace the steps of evolution of life on earth as well as her own psychological evolution. She is also the author of The Jewel in the Wound: How the Body Expresses the Needs of the Psyche and Offers a Path to Transformation.
