Hi everyone,
Just a quick note to check in and wish everyone a happy Fall. I can't believe it's September already!
Huge thanks to those of you who are keeping up with your member welcomes--they are so important!--and also those who are taking the time to respond to various discussions on the Alliance, to submit a quote and question for the "depth discussions," or to re-promote Alliance posts on social media. Every bit helps, and even if you haven't been as active as you'd like, don't worry. I know you are holding the space for all of this to happen.
On that note, I'd like to thank Mark for bringing up an important point this week. He offered to hand out flyers or postcards at a wilderness therapy conference he is attending and it occurred to me to state/re-state explicitly that if any of you plan to attend workshops, seminars, or conferences and see a similar opportunity, let me know and I'm happy to send you postcards or create custom flyers. These could also be handed out or posted at universities and educational institutions you may have an affiliation with. Also, if you haven't already, be sure to list yourself as a Depth Alliance Board Member in any bios you put out and on your web, Facebook, or LinkedIn profiles. Just that alone could get the Alliance some attention and hopefully add something for you as well.
Also, big thanks to Craig for his follow-through on the webinar last week (Catch the replay here). I think it was phenomenal and the feedback from attendees and those who have listened later has been really great. I'm really excited to get the Community Ed program off the ground so we can do more of that type of thing, as well as archive the presentations so we can feature a valuable section of educational materials. If anyone has time and interest in reaching out to those individuals who have indicated an interest in presenting, please let me know. I'm happy to work strategically with anyone who has time or energy to do some legwork to make this happen.
In that arena, the September book club has launched and seems to be getting good traction. Also, I'm just cresting the hill on Depth Insights eZine Fall issue and hope to still have it out by the end of September or early October, but it's been really time consuming. Also, I need to re-focus my time to finish my dissertation and will be traveling pretty intensively in coming weeks, so like some of you, I won't be able to be as active this final quarter in Alliance stuff as I'd like. However, I do still think we can host the "open house" in January and thank those of you who have posted potential orgs to contact. Does anyone want to take a stab at some copy for explaining to orgs what we're about, our intention for the event, and what the parameters are? I've already created a description that can serve as some source material--posted here in the 'group' if you want to view it.
Thanks all. Feel free to respond to anything that moves you just so we can keep the channels open while we're all so busy.

Bonnie,
Has a new list come out that I missed of who is doing what welcomes? I just went in and did the A,B,C list that you were doing as a thank you and then wondered if someone else might be doing them now. Hopefully, I did not step on any toes, if someone else is working that part of the alphabet.
I am in Boulder, CO this week finishing up my concept paper before heading to San Diego next Monday. I am back online with internet access and have cell phone coverage once again so I will be getting more alliance work done in the future!

Jesse (and all). Good point. Here's the current list of assignments. Jesse, I know you're still doing two sets so if you need a break, let me know. Also, Michael has just left for a trip where he'll be off internet, so I'm sure he'll be thrilled to know you stepped in! Thank you!
