The idea is actually quite simple, even though its ramifications are potentially enormous. It is
this: if our dreams arise from the World's Dream, then we can perhaps glimpse what the world
itself desires. And knowing this, we can then act in the world, on behalf of the world. This is the
concept that I call "Archetypal Activism"....

Thanks for posting Steve's quote here, so I can re-member it. I took place in a conference several years ago in Santa Barbara. I think the name of it was "The World Dreaming" (or something like that). Steve, Hillman, and others presented over two days. I sat up in a balcony (it was an old building downtown). Steve had us all close our eyes, take breaths, and tune into what images were arising for us. My image was of Whale; the majority of participants had seen an image of ocean and/or Her marine life. He left us with an admonition that we should go back to our communities, to hold spaces and events to come together with others to dream, to imagine, to listen to what Earth had to say to us. I have never forgotten that experience, nor Steve's invitation to tend, listen and honor what is trying to be spoken by Earth.
Thanks for sharing this experience, Donna. I do think each of our own dreams and images are a product of a group theme and can be viewed on that level (as well as individually), so I hope everyone will be sure to log your dreams so that we can start identifying patterns that are meaningful to all of us here in this work...
