Your gospel song was wonderful to hear yesterday, seemed to move us all in ways that we needed. Plus, now it is raining!

I will play you a tune that came to me last night when I was bowed in prayer, for I noticed this morning when I hummed it some angels with hangovers gathered near and they felt better.

There is no way to get rid of self-pity for good: it has a definite place and character in our lives, a definite façade which is recognizable. Thus every time the occasion arises, the façade of self-pity becomes active. It has a history. But if one changes the façade, one shifts its place of prominence.

Thank you, James! Synchronistically, BB King's birthday today and when I went to go find something of his found this youtube set, which also has a song by an very young Dolly Parton and also a blue grass group! Enjoy!
