Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
My education includes undergraduate engineering studies at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (Caracas, Venezuela), and two M.Sc. degrees and a Ph.D. from Stanford University. In addition, I have kept myself in a life-long learning mode through participating in multiple workshops and professional events. Currently, I am a consultant, facilitator and lecturer of visionary strategic planning and organizational learning with a depth psychology underpinning. My professional experience includes organizations within the public and private sectors and have progressively emphasized organizational learning in the nonprofit sector. My academic experience includes: Regis University – Master in Nonprofit Management; Universidad de Los Andes; Stanford University; and IESA (MBA School, Caracas). Through time, I have offered a number of strategic management and organizational learning courses and conferences. Currently an independent management consultant and coach, I see myself as a champion for mobilizing organizational energy through striving for alignment with worthwhile goals while fostering clarity of strategic issues. Moreover, I also work in expanding organizational learning and transformational leadership into the realm of epic endeavors along the lines of Joseph Campbell’s the Hero’s Journey monomyth. I was appointed a Lentz Foundation fellow at Naropa University during Spring 2012 to pursue this commitment. I have just finished a manuscript for a book entitled: Committing to a Shared Epic Intent ~ Organizational Learning along the Hero’s Journey. I intend to share my own findings and learn from everybody else in this network.
