Depth Psychology as a Vocation DiscoverRings™offered via Depth Psychology Alliance are peer-collaboration groups established to bring small groups of likeminded people together to explore what messages psyche is offering about establishing or expanding one's work in depth psychology as a vocation.
If you are interested in being part of an experiential peer-group that uses depth methodologies (work with dreams, myth, symbols, active imagination, divination, etc.) to explore your calling to depth psychology as a vocation, and you can commit to attend and wholly participate, please fill out this survey with your preferred meeting times, days, and frequency.
ABOUT THE GROUPS
The groups are largely self-organizing, generally populated with 6-8 individuals who take turns facilitating each session.
Each group will set their own agenda and live sessions will evolve through member participation and collaboration, perhaps one week focusing on dreamwork, and another using the I-Ching, etc.
- Groups meet online, and are self-organizing, and typically last 90 minutes.
- Each group takes place in 3 month cycles, with the option to renew or extend membership after each 3 month period.
- Some groups will meet weekly, while others meet every two weeks or once a month.
- Cost for each session is $20 and is payable to Depth Psychology Alliance in full before you join the group
The role of Depth Psychology Alliance is to:
- bring likeminded people who are interested in exploring the topic together
- help individuals get started with the group
- make suggestions, provide broad templates for agenda and curriculum
- provide easy technology or platform for people to meet online or by phone
- try to help resolve any challenges that may present themselves in the group
Once we get your survey information, we will put you on a waiting list for new groups as they become available and let you know when and how to meet. We ask that you commit to attending at least 3 out of every 4 meetings (special circumstances excluded), and that you be willing to fully engage with your fellow participants.
