Alliance member Barry Spector writes about American history and politics from the perspectives of myth, indigenous traditions and archetypal psychology. He is the author of Madness At The Gates Of The City: The Myth Of American Innocence. His essays can be found on his websites (www.barryandmayaspector.com and www.madnessatthegates.com). Barry and his wife Maya have performed in Rumi’s Caravan and they also conduct an annual Day of the Dead grief ritual. In 2011 it will take place on November 5th near Berkeley, CA.
