regarding Dr. Conforti’s work on Jung’s Red Book

In the Red Book, we find a first hand account of Jung's encounter with Self, God and the Transcendent. We see how he wrestled with living in two worlds simultaneously, the "Spirit of the Times", and the "Spirit of the Depths". Like many of our wisdom stories describing the wandering and wrestling in the desert with spirits and demons, these encounters enabled him to build a life in concert with the values of the Self, and later, to develop an approach to psyche which worked closely with the archetypes and the callings of the Self.
