Join Michael Conforti at the beautiful Westward Look Resort as we take an in-depth look at the voice in the dream, and discuss ways to discern the archetypal-objective and subjective meaning of images.

The dream may portray us as achieving an important milestone, or faltering terribly. Is this the voice of Self or the complex, presenting the dream's story? Each offers a profoundly different perspective about the dreamer, and needs to be understood as such.

The Bible tells of Satan masquerading as an angel of light. So too in Jewish law, we hear of Satan asking to be allowed to appear as God to the people. God accedes and since that day humanity has remained confused, and in need of psychological and spiritual discernment. Herein lies the personal and archetypal challenge in dream work.

In this conference we will take an in-depth look at the voice in the dream, and discuss ways to discern the archetypal-objective and subjective meaning of images. Participants will also learn ways for understanding and working with the relationship between the archetypal alignment represented in the dream in relationship to the dreamers complex.

This theme will be illustrated through the presentation of dreams from clinical practice, and dreams of leading figures in history. Conference participants with a clinical practice are encouraged to present dreams for supervision. To honor the importance and sacred nature of dreams, and understanding that dreams need to be presented within a contained temenous, we will not be working with conference participant's dreams.
