Dream Wisdom: Dialogues with the Soul

Dreams have been recognized as a source of spiritual experience and inspiration by cultures throughout history. This sacred dimension of dreaming presents itself even if we do not understand its symbolism. This program will enable participants to include the wisdom of dreaming in whatever type of spiritual practice they have, or to experiment with new forms of practice. During the course of two meetings, you will have the opportunity to use dream incubation to receive guidance on a given question; to do meditation with dream images to elucidate their meaning; and to dialogue with a spirit guide or wisdom figure from a dream. Reading materials on dreaming in indigenous, mystical, and monotheistic traditions will be available. Open to seekers of any background and orientation; suitable for pastoral counselors, spiritual directors, and psychotherapists.
