We speak of a future waiting in potentia, and a life beckoning to be lived, but what are the currents directing that life? Is it possible to navigate through the mystery by listening to a language that is not spoken with words, but rather expressed through archetypal images that come to us as dreams?
The quest to understand our dreams is an intriguing
pilgrimage which has beckoned searchers and sages since the beginning of time. Today, there are almost as many approaches to dream interpretation as there are individual dreams. Yet we know from the work of C. G. Jung and others, that there is an objective psyche which seeks to reveal itself to us in our dreams and as Jung often wrote, it is this inner world of the unconscious that is the true reality. It is this which necessitates our need to understand the language of the psyche as revealed through our dreams.
Dreams as destiny, as opportunities for transformation of a life, is one of the central themes of C.G. Jung's works, just as it was for the sages, mystics and spiritual leaders before him. This teleseminar series will explore this theme
with an in-depth look at historical and contemporary examples of dreams which served as both portents of the future and possibilities for archetypal transformation.
