Want to participate more in the Alliance but having trouble finding your way around?
Join Alliance Founder Bonnie Bright and fellow community members for a visual walk through the Alliance to help you get oriented on the site, become familiar with what's available (it's a treasure trove!), and learn how to participate, share news or info, and connect with likeminded others.
You'll learn:
- what kinds of content and offerings are available
- what it takes to share information about your event, book, news, or organization
- how to post comments, photos, blogs, or videos
- how to respond to other posts
- use the live text chat
- join and post in a group
- more!
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Anyone who:
- wants some simple guidance on posting and using the site
- feels technologically challenged
- wants to look around the community to see what's available, but hasn't yet taken the time
- is interested in sharing information about your book, event, organization, or services but don't know where to start
- wants to share a blogpost or event but doesn't know how
- Engage with some of the posts or discussions
This will likely be a fairly small interactive group where you can ask questions and get clarification if you're having trouble figuring out how to get around on the site. There's no such thing as a silly question, so come watch, learn and ASK as we navigate various aspects of the site.
This event will also be recorded (including the visuals as we go through the various pages) in case you can't join us live, but come connect and if you can! I look forward to meeting some of you live. ~Bonnie Bright

Hi everyone. Here's the info and link to see the Orientation Session video recording. Thanks to everyone who attended the session live. I see some of you are already putting what you learned to use. Fantastic!
Please let me know if you have any questions as you go along.
