August 25, 2016 - News!
As time, the universe, and God will have it [whatever power source leads your belief system], lots transpired this past month. Darlene was away on a well-earned, deserved vacation. Linda listened to a CBC broadcast featuring the creation and formation of a small group named “In Harms Way” that meets every 2 weeks, and she attended three of the seven weekly presentations of Dr. Grof’s course entitled the “Psychology of the Future.” It is clear this special pilot project below is a deep need!
Group Purpose: insights gleaned from the collective consciousness reveal that we are lifetime learners, wounded healers, leaders in our own right + tribe from ancestral legacies including abuse survivors. We demonstrate resiliency and we dream, seek deeper levels of “core” healing of ourselves despite the transgenerational nature of the impact of our wounds, noteworthy across time. We have the long-term goal of potential liberation [ease, forgiveness, freedom, peace] from the shackles of violence, abuse, addictive processes + resultant soul suffering in our human condition – for ourselves and our kin – including historic, current + future generations. If this profile includes you, consider joining.
Group Formation: including Darlene + Linda, our circle now has six potential candidates, with the call and search continuing for others. We need more time to form our healing circle, therefore, the start date is moving to November 2016, whether we stick with six or complete a full dozen members!
Candidacy: Adults with a certificate course in the healing arts, students, or employees currently working in the human service industries, plus resilient survivors invited by Darlene or Linda, who are shifting out of victimization, transitioning into affirming, health-promoting lifestyles and seeking thriving modes of existence and being. Candidates must be capable of self-directing their own care while on this adventure and provide informed consent to participate.
July 26, 2016 - I was able to listen to the free offering, interview with Dr. Stanislav Grof, MD this evening who is also offering an amazing 7 week course that covers many important triune [mind/body/spiritual] being matters we will explore within our healing circle and time together.
If you have the funds and time...taking this course is a definite asset...these learnings...the wisdom shared by Dr. Grof will facilitate and enhance deeper levels of healing potential...individually and collectively. My hopes and prayers are being answered...the old saying..."Ask and you shall receive" and ..."When the student is ready...the teachers appear" rings so true. Got to love the synchronicity happening within the DPA community. Grateful. Peace + Love Linda
May the gathering of the tribe begin! It is indeed time to converge in conscious conversation among wounded healers. Our soul's journey is the most important project we have on earth. May it bring healing to all who participate.

Linda, I can't believe that you are finally bringing the amazing work of your dissertation and decades of knowledge and experience with trauma victims and end-of-life issues to the world.
