Through his encounters with Salome and Elijah, Jung came to see the reality of a domain of psychic life that far exceeded anything that existed in consciousness. In seeing the limitations of his own personal beliefs and biases, he came face to face with a wisdom - an eternal wisdom - contained within the psyche. He later understood this to be the workings of archetypes, the collective unconscious, and the Self. In this series of lectures, Dr. Conforti will begin on page 249 of the Red Book and offer a commentary on the material, discussing how these passages relate to Jung's own journey and to the development of an approach to psyche and spirituality that has shaped the lives of millions of individuals worldwide. Many have found Dr. Conforti's approach to this material to be a truly stand-alone body of work, as it combines both academic scholarship and discipline with the poetry and esotericism of a transcendent language that resonates at a soulful level and serves to open windows of wisdom that are equally practical and inspirational. Participants from all walks of life and levels of experience are invited to be part of this seminar. It is not necessary to have participated in prior seminars.
