Azazel as the Scapegoat god

I am publishing Patrick White's book length poem, Azazel. The cover art is mine in response to the poem. We are having an online book launch soon with readings by Patrick and an interview. I will keep you up to date if there is enough interest and at some point provide an e-book for download. Patrick wrote the poem some time ago and has never written in this style since. I will post my website to give you more background on the poet and the process. http://www.cdrisarts.com/ click on the Azazel link to get to Patrick's page. More material will be added as we get closer to the book launch.  Thank you....

  • “He dares and achieves.” Yes, but in the “real life” outside of poetry few can really dare AND achieve.

    • Aleksander, so interesting that you chose Patrick's review to respond to!  What Patrick has done is quite interesting in a Jungian sense. He was an accomplished poet with numerous awards and publications and decided he had to let go of prestige and competition. He has sacrificed a normal life for poetry. His achievement has been the writing itself. Drawing from deep wells, he has had few rewards. Perhaps, that will change now. But, as in real life, there are no guarantees for working outside the norm. Thank you so much for responding.
