The Fall 2014 issue of Depth Insights scholarly ezine is out! It's loaded with great Jungian and depth psychology essays on mythology, ecopsychological topics, trauma, animals, The Red Book, and Jung's Word Association Test, among other topics, as well as some great art and poetry from several Alliance members.

Congratulations to all whose work was selected for this issue, and thanks to everyone who submitted. We wish we could have accepted it all!

    For some reason I can't reply, so I'll write here. My mother is Vuka and vuk means "wolf" and that's how I have started noticing that. It's a long story, but I wonder who puts stuff such as this conversation http://www.metacafe.com/watch/an-IU_x44Y4bhbmm2/21_grams_2003_paul_... or Benicio Del Toro as "Wolf" doing this http://www.metacafe.com/watch/an-IU_xtJm2mh77J/21_grams_2003_jack_c... (a very similar scene appears in The Fountain, there are tigers and wolves (and the word "synchronicity") in the film The Knowing).

    I suppose it's in a way appropriate after that "gathering" or however it was called on synchronicity. I might just see things, but for some reason I find the combination of words wolf, tiger, butterfly significant. It can for instance be found in this issue.

      Thanks for your input here, Aleksandar. I love that you picked up on nature words, living things, and—though what species are NOT fighting extinction at this point?—that you have identified three species that are badly endangered in many ways.

      I firmly believe we need to all be paying attention so that when things "grab" us, we can bring our consciousness to whatever is happening in the moment. It's the way the world (and the unconscious) is speaking to us, and through us. For whatever reason you noticed this and made the effort to comment, thank you.
