Hi Dennis Pottenger

I'm not exactly sure of the title of HIllman's piece on depression. But I'm sure Bonnie would not mind forwarding it to you.  I ordered the biography several mths ago and I too  received a notice that it would be out by Dec. Gosh that's daunting. Another affirmation of his"real" absence!  For some odd reason I'm quite tuned in  to him recently. Perhaps it was the dream.  As I understood him, he felt that it was important to see beauty in the world, and to make it more beautiful both creatively and imaginally as a way of honoring the Anima Mundi.   I've contributed to an art show this month and did so in part, with the urging of an analyst who reminded me that Hillman always urged us to give beauty to the world.  One of his rants, a favorite of mine, that I heard many moons ago, was when he told people in essence to forget about therapy and the consulting room, and take up art, music , tap dancing (as he did!) in order to give their expression of beauty to the world.  I've done just that in the past six years and you know something...I get it now....I get it!  Et vous? Best, Regards, Judie
