I invite you to tune in for my new interview for Depth Insights™ with Alliance member, therapist and author, Elizabeth Clark-Stern as we explore themes of the feminine and the archetypal Divine in the story of Teresa of Avila as elucidated in Elizabeth's book (and play), "On the Doorstep of the Castle."
The story is set in 16th century Spain. The Inquisition has expelled the Jews or forced them to convert. Teresa of Avila is igniting the imagination of the country as the nun who receives messages directly from God.
In our conversation Elizabeth shares wonderful insights into the role of the feminine in spiritual, political, and relational realms. Together, we explore the question of what it means for each of us to be a “Teresa of Avila” and how this inspires our own processes of individuation, according to Jung.
Elizabeth is hosting the free online book club on Depth Psychology Alliance in October 2015.

Hi Bonnie + Elizabeth - wow, 3 years has lapsed since the last book club which I thoroughly enjoyed and I am so excited about this wonderful opportunity that comes during the time in my life where I am on a personal hermitage seeking the company and wisdom of mystic women, historic and current. I received a gift book in 1997, with brief, short stories of 5 Women Mystics, never had the chance to get into it till now and how synchronistic, Theresa of Avila is one of them! Ask for what you need and you shall receive, have the chance to participate in the formation, creation of this virtual mystical and sacred interactive space with my friends @ DPA. Humbled non-locality at it's best. Peace + Love Linda.
