- As mentioned, we may need to add additional board members or volunteers to help round them out (or may decide to combine some in the beginning
- (Names in parentheses mean those individuals would like to be included in communications about meetings as they may occasionally want to join).
- Please make sure you connect with others on your committee and set a time to meet at least once before the next meeting; then plan to report back.
- Topics to discuss in your committees include
- Brainstorm: an overview of possible initiatives you might work on
- Assess: a general assessment of effort/investment vs. potential financial viability/income potential
- Prioritize: a "top pick" (or 2) based on your assessment that you might do first
- Break it down: Work toward creating a formal document that describes the steps, resources/people needed, how many hours and how much money each step might take
- Report: describe your potential project(s) at the next board meeting
By the way, you may want to use Doodle.com to find meeting days/times. It's easy and free to use.
Last, if the thought that YOU should take the initiative and convene a committee or task force you are on, don't resist it. It may be your soul knocking at the door :)

Thanks, Bonnie, for the synopsis.
1. I look forward to working with Donna, Craig, Bonnie, Eva (and Dorene) on the Education Committee.
2. Also, Dorene posted in the minutes to the meeting that, "Every board member should be on at least one committee (and hopefully two until we get more board members)". I feel most drawn to the Executive Committee as my second committee.
