I finally read the Zombie article and I found it powerful. I don't know what it would look like to extricate myself from all the "zombie institutions" that impact my life. The article certainly was an eyeopener.

I frequent a knitting shop and the store happens to be next door to what I would call an odd shop. I have never been inside, however, some of the signs in front are unusual for conservative Connecticut. As I approached the store today, there were signs, Survival Supplies, Zombie.com, (another word for water pipe beginning with "h"), and smokeless cigarettes.There were antique tool-like items in the window that I could not make out. I mentioned the signs to the owner of the yarn and knitting shop and she said, "Oh yes, and he is now selling bonsai trees and little Buddha statues."

I must confess, it struck me funny and I asked myself, "What myths is he living in."
