The History of My Body has been launched!

I was thrilled to launch my new novel The History of My Body in a talk and book reading at the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles yesterday!

Here's what Carolyn Raffensperger, Executive Director of the Science and Environmental Health Network, has to say about the book: "Sharon Heath's tragicomic novel is a laboratory to observe a homely caterpillar metamorphosing into a butterfly flapping her wings and changing the world. In the chrysalis of Heath's story, the butterfly effect transforms physics and biological facts into juicy, universal myth. Oh the joys and sorrows of inhabiting a young girl's body in the swish and swirl of sex, food, death, politics. Live them all here in their riotous complexity with Fleur, our historian of the body and the body politic."

I'd love to hear what my ecopsychological colleagues have to think about the book!

It's available directly from Fisher King Press/Genoa House at http://fisherkingpress.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=86. And you can purchase it in both print and Kindle versions at http://www.amazon.com/History-My-Body-Sharon-Heath/dp/1926975022/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1318866100&sr=1-1.
