Hi Everyone,
Starting in 2012, the Alliance will be launching an online book club that will be tended by a different author each month. The author would provide an intro on the first day of their designated month, then assign readings and field online questions and assign readings in the group a few times each week.
Each author would be invited to do a Depth Insights Radio interview a few weeks in advance to help stimulate interest and give people time to order the book, and then have the option to deliver a 60-minute teleseminar sometime during the month. Participation in the Club will be free for all Alliance members---there would be a $10 charge for the teleseminar (open to not only members but the general public as well)--and a 50/50 revenue split between the author and the Alliance.

I have been enjoying this forum and would love to add my name to the potential author's list. My book is The Virgin's Promise: Writing Feminine Stories of Creative, Spiritual and Sexual Awakening. I can't remember if you have a copy. Essentially it outlines a pattern for the journey of the Virgin archetype to know herself and be herself even against he wishes of others. Similar to the work of Joseph Campbell on the Heroes Journey, my book gives movie examples to show the pattern (showing how creative people have found it in their unconscious from many different cultures and through time). It might be fun to highlight some movies for discussion as well. Let me know if you need anything more from me to consider my book for the book club.
