Hi all. My goal is to offer more regular newsletters (monthly, if possible). I was doing that for awhile a couple of years ago but have recently only done occasional ones to promote specific news or events.
It CAN be time-consuming to do it alone, so I'm hoping some of you can help--and maybe even on a regular monthly basis—though that can be decided later if needed.
I'm ready to think about an early June newsletter and would love to have a short written blurb (maybe 300-500 words) on a depth psychology topic (See Lynn Gordon's outstanding article on Monarch Butterfly Migration in the May issue). Lynn also wrote a longer, correlating blog on the Alliance which we directed readers to from the newsletter. I thought it worked really well. There's no need to do a blog in addition to the short blurb, however, so if you are interested and able to offer something for this issue, please message me or email me at info@depthpsychalliance.com by May 28 if you can.
We also featured a Member Spotlight on John Woodcock, who is also a volunteer here, and it was great to give John some credit for his good work and let members get to know him better. I would love to do another similar member spotlight, so if you are interested in writing questions and correlating the spotlight interview, let me know.
Finally, if you have experience in Constant Contact and would like to help put the newsletter together, that would be much appreciated.
Thanks everyone!—and if you have indicated interest in helping in other areas and are ready to get started, let me know. I know some of you couldn't attend the Orientation meeting we did a few weeks ago, but we can start out chatting by email if you're ready and have a live call when we're ready, either individually or as a group.
