As a Research Scholar, I have been visiting UC Berkeley during the last several years and independently researched the field while also being in dialogue with some systems thinkers and ecofeminists in the Bay Area. I am a student of shamanism with shamanic teacher Sandra Ingerman and an ecoartist - a poet and a photographer. I look forward to being in dialogue.

Hi Alessandra, welcome to the Alliance. We are an all-volunteer-led online community with over 5,000 members worldwide. Our aim is to take Depth Psychology to the streets! I consider myself a whole-system thinker and have loved Senge's work through Society for Organizational Learning. My own thesis is that U.S. society really values specialization, and much is lost when the different fields of knowledge don't talk to one another. I think you will find many like-minded others on the Alliance. Also, some time when you are in Berkeley, consider visiting the Dream Institute, founded by Meredith Sabini who wrote/edited Jung on Nature. Dr. Sabini has been leading monthly Deep Dreaming groups with the Associate Director, Richard Russo, for eleven years now. I have found the process to be very shamanic in that it fishes in the collective ether. I love it, and perhaps you would enjoy meeting Meredith.
And, finally, consider joining our monthly Deep Meet and Greet on the Alliance on 3/1 at 5:00p Pacific Time.
Warmly,
Dorene Mahoney, Alliance Board Member
