Yes. I have been a state-registered music therapist for 15 years. I am in advanced stages of training to be a Guided Imagery In Music Practitioner.
Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
I'm interested in the relationship between astrology and the deepest areas of the psyche, for personal and professional development. I feel very inspired by the depth in which Guided Imagery in Music works and would like to understand my own experiences as a client and trainee (GIM) therapist

Glad you joined the Alliance and hope you find much to your interests in the many blogs, forums, and groups BUT tell me more about Guided Imagery In Music. I certainly have had many visions and narratives present themselves to me while immersed in music. I would enjoy hearing more about your program. Again, welcome.

Hi Cathy. A belated welcome to the Alliance. It's lovely to have someone with your history in Music here--I think there are many who will be interested in your field. On that note, once you have a chance to explore the online community a bit, I think you'll find a dynamic group of likeminded people who are all intrigued by the field of depth psychology. And, while there are many Jungian analysts, clinicians, and psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
Meanwhile, I hope you're finding opportunities to engage as you browse the vast content and interact with others. You may want to consider joining the online book club if you haven’t already—There's a new author each month, and you can jump in at anytime and participate at whatever level you wish. February brings a wonderful new book from Jungian Analyst Erel Shalit as well as a special online study group on Astrology with long-time astrologer Kathleen Burt.
