I am an LCSW preparing to apply to Pacifica. I also hold several certificates in Depth Psychology and Applied Depth Psychology.

Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?

Depth Psychology captures yet liberates not only the way I see the world and myself in it, but the healing journeys that my clients take with me. As a Sandtray and trauma therapist, I have long practiced from the framework and client report that “symptom” alleviation never fully satisfied my clients, as there was that innate need to move deeper into understanding themselves and rewriting their life narratives with the wisdom of individuation and truthseeking through their shadows. I just discovered this community through a link while exploring the two Phd programs I am considering and am seeking to connect in broader and deeper ways to depth psychology and those who resonate with it in this same way.
