Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
What does not draw me to Depth Psychology is the question for me...I have been intuitive since an infant and recall impossible memories. I observe and feel and have worked as a helper in many capacities. I am interested in the psyche attachments and their manifestations. We are always in the process of becoming. Depth Psychology is listening with my soul and I want to hear more, see more and be able to help others by learning from those who have traveled on their journeys and to share my experiences with those who are like minded and interested in the true depths of the mind, and to grow in my ability to use what I learn here to grow both personally and professionally, share this information and help others understand be freer and care for themselves better and accept.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?

Hi Elissa. Welcome to the Alliance. I'm so glad you've joined us and relate strongly to your comment, "What does NOT draw me to Depth Psychology'... I truly love the field as well.
As you may know, we currently have over 1500 members from all over the world. I hope as you explore the community a bit you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
On that note, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to someone else's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like.
Also you may want to consider participating in the online book club: In August we're featuring Deep Blues: Human Soundscapes for the Archetypal Journey about Blue... with Dr. Mark Winborn. September will bring us "Out of the Shadows: A Story of Toni Wolff and Emma Jung" with Eliz.... Since the Book Club is all done via writing in an open forum, you can participate at your own level and schedule.
