  • Welcome Heather,

Bonnie is SO right in mentioning my interest in theatre. Currently writing a play and a one-act. I guess I have always seen theatre as both the soul and the conscience of a culture so I am always trying to support the arts in my area. Its not a great leap to move from a love of theatre to depth psychology and its archetypes. I'm especially interested in your focus on affective neuroscience. My dissertation approaches how the soul works through the mind, body, and emotions.

Glad you joined us and I look forward to seeing your posts within the many blogs, forums, and groups as well as any conversation we might share about the above topics.

  • Hi Heather. Welcome to the online Depth community. Hopefully you have had a chance to explore the site and have found the Alliance to be made up of a dynamic group of likeminded people who can learn from each other in a multitude of ways. I know Ed Koffenberger, my amazing co-administrator here has a background in and passion for theater so perhaps you two will connect around that. Meanwhile, as you probably know, there are lots of Pacifica students, faculty, and alumni here who seem to gravitate to the site

On that note, I hope you're finding opportunities to engage as you browse the vast content and interact with others. You may want to consider joining the online book club if you haven’t already—There's a new author each month, and you can jump in at anytime and participate at whatever level you wish. Even if you don't have the book for this month, you can read all the comments that have gone on so far and get a feel for the story--or Feb. 1 will bring a wonderful new book as well as a special online study group on Astrology.

In case you need detailed help getting started and navigating the site, please use the following link-- http://www.depthpsychologyalliance.com/page/navigating-the-site --and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all! I look forward to seeing you around the community~Bonnie Bright, Founder
