Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
My attraction to Depth Psychology came about as I was exploring the desire to go deeper within myself. In the past I have explored Shamanism as well as Buddhism. In the past year I have been independently studying Jung through the writings of Robert Johnson and Jame Hollis. The result of that has been a desire to explore how I can use Depth Psychology in my work and how to share it with others.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?

Hi Helen. I'd like to add my welcome to Ed's. Its great you've found the online depth community.I had the incredible honor of presenting at the Assisi conference last week and Dr. Hollis was the keynote for what ended up being an amazing event. I, too, find his work to be profound, and of course, Robert Johnson is remarkable in his own right.
I hope you'll find this a place to deeply connect with likeminded others--which you can do by joining a discussion, commenting on others' posts, sharing links or articles that are meaningful to you, or perhaps posting some of your own work. I find it truly wonderful to be involved in this dynamic and growing community.
I'll send you some tips on navigating the site in a separate email in case its of help. Enjoy the site, and I look forward to seeing you around. ~Bonnie Bright, Founder
Welcome Helen,
I think a conversation/questions/experiences of depth psychological perspectives as they apply to social work would be fascinating!!! Welcome to the Alliance. Johnson is one of my favorites and seems to be able to smoothly bridge the almost esoteric aspects of Jungian work with the lived experience of everyday life. I look forward to your posts in the blogs, forums, and groups.
