Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
I have been studying Jung for about 10 years, had a wonderful teacher who then died about two years ago. I was bought up with parents who followed an Eastern Philosophy, the Mystical side of the Sikh religion so the focus was all on Spirituality, but I questioned more, Spirituality wasn't enough for me. From 2000 to 2002 I lived in Jerusalem where I set myself to task of getting to the bottom of the God mystery. I wanted to know the Why and How of God and figured this place, like no other on earth, may hold some answers. So I began my quest of asking. I asked EVERYONE I met questions about God - Orthodox Jews, Coptic monks, Catholic seminary students, Muslim, the Druze, Whirling Dervishes from Sufi tradition, and many others. And while I had a profound breakthrough in many areas not all my inquiry was answered. Back in South Africa in 2007 I started studied Jung, and FINALLY some of my really big answers began to be answered. So now I am a dedicated student of the teachings of Jung and this is the one, dare I call it philosophy, that makes sense to me.
