Hi Leslie. Welcome to the Alliance. I'm glad to see your interest in the conjunction of psychology and astrology--I think it can be such a powerful way of understand ourselves and our relationship to the world around us. Hopefully you're planning to join the special online Study Group with Kathleen Burt.
Meanwhile, once you have a chance to explore the Alliance a bit, I think you'll find a dynamic group of likeminded people who are all deeply drawn to the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinicians here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
On that note, you may also want to consider joining the online book club if you haven’t already—There's a new author each month, and you can jump in at anytime and participate at whatever level you wish. Even if you don't have the book for this month, you can read all the comments that have gone on so far and get a feel for the story--or Feb. 1 will bring a wonderful new book from Jungian Analyst Erel Shalit on the "ages of life" (as Jung called them) as well as a special online study group on Astrology you already know about.
