Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
Depth has personally helped me in a variety of way internally and externally. I believe it helps people focus on who they are and how they realate with the rest of the universe. I want to meet new people who share these interest as well as more wisdom about and for myself.

Hi Michael. Welcome to the Alliance. Hopefully, once you have a chance to explore the Alliance a bit you'll find a dynamic group of likeminded people who are all deeply drawn to the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinicians here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
On that note, I hope you're finding opportunities to engage as you browse the vast content and interact with others. You may want to consider joining the online book club if you haven’t already—There's a new author each month, and you can jump in at anytime and participate at whatever level you wish. Even if you don't have the book for this month, you can read all the comments that have gone on so far and get a feel for the story--or Feb. 1 will bring a wonderful new book from Jungian Analyst Erel Shalit (that is also focused on archetypes) as well as the special online study group on Astrology.
Meanwhile, I see you're in the Bay Area so you may want to join "Bay Area Hive" (under groups) to get updates and connect with people here. We're planning our first in-person meetup and speaker evening in Marin on March 23, so it should be a great opportunity to actually get some in-person connection. Welcome Michael,
Drama therapy!! So glad you have joined the Alliance. Expressive therapies have always been a part of my therapeutic approach and enjoy the creativity offered by other practitioners. I've watched as other fields of mental health workers adopt, adapt, and outright steal the methods of drama therapy for their own work. Also have enjoyed the way drama has played such a powerful role in liberation psychology. There are many topics within the blogs, forums, and groups so I believe you will find much to your interests. I look forward to your posts.
