Pacifica Graduate Institute, Depth Psychology/Jungian and Archetypal Studies PhD program, (1st year as of Sept. 2011). I have an MA from Antioch University in Psychology and Art Therapy.
Are you a licensed or clinical therapist?
Not licensed, but I am a professional member of the American Art Therapy Association, and have an active practice in art therapy.
Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
Well, I suppose soul draws me like a magnet to Depth Psychology; I love the interaction of intellectual challenge and artful imagination. I seek connection with others with similar interests: I know some great therapists, and spiritual seekers where I live, but desire connection with a wider community of Jungian/Depth oriented thinkers/practicioners.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?
I am currently taking Dr. Michael Conforti's Red Book teleseminar, and I follow Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes online (facebook) community and have been in several of her teleseminars as well. I also just joined theweb page of the Imaginal Institute, it looks very interesting!

Hi Rebecca. Greetings, and glad you've found the online depth community. I would like to add my welcome to Ed's.
The Alliance is a dynamic and growing group of people who understand the power of connecting around critical topics and the fact that we are a global community allows us to meet and learn from others in a multitude of ways. I have done a few sessions of the Red Book with Dr. Conforti as well and he is a wonderful friend to the Alliance.
I think you'll find much to engage with as you begin to browse the vast content and start interacting with others. I encourage you to jump in right away and get your feet wet by simply sharing a link or article that has meaning for you or perhaps by commenting on others' posts, asking a question, or sharing some of your own thoughts or work.
