Welcome Sonja,
Glad you found and decided to join the Alliance. Curious as to whether your interest in depth psychology is personal, professional or both? There is a group specifically for MFT folks so you may wish to look into that group of folks. Again, welcome and I look forward to your posts.

Hi Sonja. Welcome to the Alliance. I'm glad you've found us and welcome your support from the Central Valley!
Once you have a chance to explore the community here, I think you'll find a dynamic group of likeminded people who are all deeply drawn to the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
On that note, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. Some simple ideas to get your feet wet are to introduce yourself in the forum; asking a question, or responding to someone else's post; or sharing a link to an article or web site you like.
You may want to consider joining the online book club if you haven’t already—There's a new author each month, and you can jump in at anytime and participate at whatever level you wish. Even if you don't have the book for this month, it's all done via writing in an open forum, so you can read all the comments that have gone on so far and get a feel for what's happening. In February, we are featuring a wonderful new book from Jungian Analyst Erel Shalit," The Cycle of Life", as well as a special online study group on Astrology with longtime astrologer Kathleen Burt. March will bring a new book from Dr. Michael Conforti, a specialist in archetypes and new sciences, "Field, Form, And Fate".
Last, I know it's a little far, but we are holding the first-ever local chapter meetup and speaker evening for the Alliance in the Bay area, north of San Francisco, on March 23. I don't know if you are part of the group that meets monthly in your area, but if you are interested in meeting other Alliance members and likeminded people for a great speaker on Jung, Crop Circles, and the Archetypal Feminine, maybe you could organize a road trip with some colleagues and come join us!
