Hi Terry. Greetings, and welcome to the online depth psychology community. It's great to have you here.
As you may know, we currently have nearly 1500 members here from all over the world. I hope as you explore the community a bit you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
On that note, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to someone else's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like.
Also you may want to consider participating in the online book club: In August we're featuring Deep Blues: Human Soundscapes for the Archetypal Journey about Blue... with Dr. Mark Winborn. Since the Book Club is all done via writing in an open forum, you can participate at your own level and schedule.
Finally, I see you're in Marin so you may want to join the "Bay Area Hive" group if you haven't already to keep apprised of local events. I think you just atteneded the Marked by Fire event, didn't you? On August 18, we're having a gathering for conversation, refreshments, and a presentation,"Earthrise: Beacon of a New Worldview" by educator/author Craig Cha... on ideas stemming from Joseph Campbell's work if you're interested and able to attend.
