Welcome Laura,
Glad you have found us especially as another Pacifica-ite. Your website is beautiful and I immediately found myself wanting to go there. Enjoy the Alliance with all its ways to engage in conversation, listen to interviews, and join a group of particular interest to you. You may even want to start a Pacifica students/grads group to find NY folks. Again, welcome and I look forward to your posts.

Hello Laura. Welcome to the Alliance! I'm glad you've found us. You probably already know, due to the person that referred you here, that there are actually many students, faculty, and alumni from Pacifica here (myself included)--so you're in good company.
I hope as you explore the community a bit you find a dynamic group of likeminded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. And, of course, while there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.
On that note, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to someone else's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like. You can also post a few paragraphs of your own blog in the Blogs section and put a link so people can go to your site and read the rest.
Also, you may want to consider joining the online book club if you haven't already—There's a new author each month, and you can jump in at anytime and participate at whatever level you wish. In May there's also a special study group on the Role of Dreams in Psycho-Spiritual Crisis you may want to check out.
In case you need detailed help navigating the site, you can use the following link-- http://www.depthpsychologyalliance.com/page/navigating-the-site--and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all! I look forward to seeing you around the community ~Bonnie Bright, Founder
