  • Good morning Aleksandar - Wow - congratulations on your work, "Self-Referential Complex Systems + Aristotle's Four Causes" being published and sharing that good news with us, in this "Context" theme, before it is out there, in hard print.  How lovely, some of us got to converse with you before official scientific acceptance + notification concerning the impending publication by a university press...Awe yes, potential possibilities abound, and It will be cool to see it all unfold for and with you...exciting times...Peace + Love Linda

  • June 7, 2015 Aleksandar – interesting a image of natural nature, growth of a new plant forms life cycle…coming out of the rich dark loom into the luminous light and has an appearance of translucence to it’s membranous leaf…brings up the nature/nurture of the being controversies for you…

As far as “difficulty telling difference between “fate” and “expected” – let us look deeper into these words you bring forth….

    FATE:

    a) Meanings: destiny, outcome

    b) Synonyms: destiny, fortune, chance, providence, luck, doom + lot

    EXPECTED:

    a) Meanings: predictable, imagined, anticipated or required

    b) Synonyms: predictable, probable, likely, anticipated, projected, estimated, normal, ordinary, accepted,

usual, foreseeable, awaited plus antonyms surprizing/surprising + unusual

“If someone likes science + science fiction, artificial + altered consciousness, or biology + physics”… you don’t mean it will be your fate that you will find a like-minded person.  OK those are your expectations.

Comparing and contrasting “Hungarian” – your homeland scientists + “Pacifica Graduate Institute” followed by “on top if one searches golden mean + genetic code” then, Question: “Does that belong to the category of fate if I knew both Hungarian scientists and also live in Serbia?

    This could be viewed as:

    COINCIDENCE:

    a) Meanings: accident, occurrence

    b) Synonyms: accident, chance, luck fluke, quirk, happenstance + twist of fate

And “only you” [that’s a song in my heart] can determine the meanings of your life’s events for yourself within the context of your experiences.  Am I hearing that there is an underlying living loss here that you are working through in this TOG – Contextual theme.  You chose this image or did the image choose you?

2nd Question:  “Am I the only person out there who thinks that there are similarities between Terrence Deacon’s and Jung’s approach to consciousness?

This is out and beyond my scope, knowledge base and someone else in the community with knowledge about “Deacon and Jung” who can engage in conversation with you to answer your search for “another out there.”  And are you sharing in this TOG- Context regarding a relational [like-minded] loss, perhaps feeling alone in your thinking right now and you are searching for someone with like-minded interests…start up a discussion…”build it…they will come”… from the movie “Field of Dreams.”

Finding like-minded people – sounds like existential angst to me which I too have known meaning anguish and synonyms anguish, torment, anxiety, trouble, sorrow, worry, fear plus antonyms happiness + calm.

Hope this is helpful for you and good luck finding a like-minded person interested in the topics you are passionate about…Peace + Love Linda
