The incomparable writer of Historical Romance, Eloisa James, is actually Professor Mary Bly, Shakespearean scholar and daughter of Robert Bly (Iron John) and short story author Carol Bly.In her novel "Three Weeks with Lady X," Bly employs the Heroine's Journey model for the titular Lady X while using her father's own "Man's Path of Healing" model for the Hero's arc. The result: A highly memorable story.
