While Stan was in Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival, we had a delightful meal courtesy of Dr. Richard Miller (to Stan's right), author of 46 books and an early protege of Stan's. Stan is belatedly autographing one of his books that Richard bought years ago. Splendid conversation and meal. That's me with the shortest haircut I've had since I entered pubescence, glad to still be the kid in this brainy group. Photo taken by Richard's domestic partner, Marie, an amazingly gifted psychic healer who had just read my aura over chutney and saffron-flavored Indian dishes.
