This program promises an entertaining blend of a uniquely dark comedy along with exploration of psychological and cultural themes.  It features a showing of the film followed by brief presentations by four Jungian analysts who will then engage in a dialogue about the film with the audience.  Probably the most personal of the Coen Brothers' films, the film explores the story of a middle-aged Jewish man who, during a period of intense personal and professional crisis comes into a confrontation with the fundamental uncertainty of life, reflective of Job, and its potential for transformation.
