We will explore the ancient temples and sanctuaries of the gods and goddesses, reflecting on the myths and their meaning in our own lives. Using the metaphor of travel as an inner journey and Joseph Campbell’s model of the Hero’s Journey, we trace the outer and inner path of our own journey from the Call to Adventure, to the Initiation, and the Return. Traveling in an intimate-sized group we will trace the origins of western civilization and spirituality embarking on a pilgrimage in search of the sacred. Additionally, our experience will be enriched by lectures, storytelling, an opportunity to work with our dreams, space for sharing and soul-reflection. With intention and inspiration, our journeys are more than travel; they are a life transforming experience.
