Dreams, the Body, and the Dance of Three
Workshop: Saturday, October 20, 2018 10AM-5PM Our bodies and dreams may be our closest links to the unconscious. Movement that emerges from a genuine source within us is by its very nature transformative. Dreamdancing®, developed by Dr. Tina Stromsted in the 1980s, integrates verbal dream sharing with embodied methods. Please bring a dream that resonates with you for the morning session. In the morning, we will engage the energies, feelings and action of the dream to help bring the dream’s message to consciousness. That afternoon you will be invited to explore “The Dance of Three,” developed by Jungian analyst, Marion Woodman and her team. This approach involves a primary mover, an engaged responder, and a reflective witness. Inner listening combined with outer engagement can enhance your ability to be present with yourself and others in an increasingly conscious relationship, inviting a level of perception that can evoke deep respect and empathy.
