Holos Institute is happy to announce our 2018 Ecopsychology Certificate Training Program.  This 100 hour in-depth program is geared toward (but not limited to) clinicians wanting to deepen their skills, perspective and confidence in ecopsychology perspectives.

It is a comprehensive scholarly and experiential program with 4 residential (long weekend) modules and 10 webinars in between. Primary instructors/course curators are Jan Edl Stein, MFT and Mary Good, MFT, with collaborative teachers offering daylong workshops such as Bill Plotkin, Ron Fisher (Hakomi), James Stark (Permaculture) and a weekend long training with Constance Washburn (The Work that Reconnects).  There are even more teachers offering unique perspectives which we hope to integrate. We will cover a broad range of topics from the logistics and clinical considerations of eco-therapy, working with climate change grief and anxiety, promoting and modeling sustainable practices and creative, embodied ways to facilitate a deeper connection to the natural world.  Graduates of the program will be certified by Holos Institute (a pioneer in the field) to offer eco-therapy (if they are clinicians), work with eco-anxiety/grief issues, offer eco-resilient solutions to individuals and groups, and to offer creative small group processes that connect people with place.

The program begins on March 17, 2018 and concludes mid-September.

Please check out the webpage that describes the program in detail and contains the online application. http://holosinstitute.net/event/ecopsychology-certificate-program/

Applications are currently being accepted with priority for decision and tuition assistance given to those who apply by December 1.

Applications will be accepted until January 30, 2018 and afterwards as space is available in this small, pioneer cohort.

This is an extraordinary opportunity to learn from not just one individual’s angle but from many major leaders in the field, to have a small cohort support and deep mentoring for a cutting edge approach to psychological solutions.
