Join Depth Psychology Alliance board members for an exciting inquiry into the field of depth psychology in the second episode of our ongoing live webinar series and panel discussion, "What is Depth Psychology—Now and in the Future?"
This June 20 panel discussion will be the second of an ongoing series of community events hosted by board members of Depth Psychology Alliance that enliven and expand on the topic. Q & A and discussion for all participants welcome! Let's talk about it!
Some questions for reflection include:
- Is there value to defining depth psychology...or does it defy definition altogether...?
- Is there a need to re-vision depth psychology and is that even possible?
- How has the history of DP led us to where we are? Who are the pioneers that are pushing the boundaries and how are they doing it?
- What might depth psychology as a movement look like and what would be the benefit?
- How might Depth Alliance be more of an activist community that can take depth psychology "to the streets"?
- What does taking DP to the streets even mean, and what might it look like?
- What does it mean to follow depth psychology as a vocation?
- What can DP do to meet the deepest soul stirrings of the individual who is called to individuation?
- How can we collaborate more in the community and share more opportunities to live our individual and collective passions?
This series debuted on May 9, 2015, with a video premier of a 22-minute video “Introduction to Depth Psychology,” created by Alliance boardmember James Newell.
The film debut was followed by a live panel discussion, “What is Depth Psychology?” with board members of Depth Psychology Alliance (Listen to the replay of the first conversation here)

Good evening All - came across this image [it came to me] the other day after we finished our last Webinar: Jung, Archetype + Tree of life and was going to send it to Eva + Bonnie and simply say: You said we might start seeing the tree in everything. Then, I noted that this was a "narrative fiction" and started to read it and there are many interesting matters in this story by Thomas More (1516) that speaks to many things spoken today...so I hope you will check it out:
The interpretations and the influences this story had on some famous authors is interesting and there is an applied "Utopia" taken from this works in Mexico!

Please, do send me an audio recording. Bandwidth in the monsoon is often problematic.
Will it be recorded for listening at a later date?
thanks
