If you have seriously considered joining us in Assisi, Italy, in July or simply fantasized about the idea, don't miss this free teleseminar on Tuesday, June 5, at 8pm ET. We'll discuss the theme, the details of the conference itself, and share stories about past years. Join me for an in-depth look at The Spiritual Mandates of an Inspired Life!

About The Conference

This year’s theme: The Spiritual Mandates of an Inspired Life: captures the importance of realizing ones gifts and the need to build a life consonant with these values.  From Jung, to mythology, to cinematic images and scenes, to the ancient mystics and through the lens of dance artistry, we will take a truly trans-disciplinary look at this profound life issue and task.

Each day begins with a Keynote lecture by a faculty member, followed by small group meetings with faculty and participants.  While each day consists of about five (5) hours of programming, this still leaves time to explore the village of Assisi and the surrounding area.   We will help arrange for special tours to neighboring cities, especially a day tour to Deruta, a medieval village which for centuries has produced the beautiful Deruta Ceramics.

The opening dinner is held at the Country House (Tre Esse) on Tuesday evening.  For those unaccustomed to Italian meals, please be prepared for a multi- course menu with bottomless carafes of local wines.  Our closing dinner will be held at Il Maniero, a medieval castle situated high in the Umbrian Hills. In addition to an elegant dinner, there will be music and dancing to celebrate our week together.

A special event for this year’s conference will be an original dance performance by  Accendo Dance Company, a professional dance  company under the artistic direction  of  Loralee  Scott –Conforti.  Accendo (“to illumine”) will be presenting their 2012 work:  “Tapestry of A Woman’s Soul” which opens with dance set to the 12th century music of Hildegard of Bingen.

Don't forget! Depth Psychology Alliance members get a 10% discount! There will also be a special presentation from Alliance Founder Bonnie Bright for Alliance members in attendance. Be sure to RSVP on the conference events page if you plan to go so we can all see who's attending.
