The Association for Holotropic Breathwork International is proud to announce that the second Global Holotropic Breathwork Day will be celebrated on May 12, 2012.
Holotropic Breathwork, created by Transpersonal Psychology pioneer Stan Grof, combines accelerated breathing with evocative music and close one-on-one
supervision in order to access insight and healing in non-ordinary states of consciousness. Holotropic Breathwork is presented by facilitators certified by Grof Transpersonal Training.
With the eyes closed and lying on a mat, each person uses their own breathing – supported by the
music -- to enter a non-ordinary state of consciousness.
Facilitators around the world are encouraged to schedule events that include Holotropic Breathwork on this day. Find a registered event to attend on the Google map of events.
The selection of this date was a community process involving AHBI, Wisdom University, Grof Transpersonal Training, Stan Grof, and the excellent astrological guidance of Renn Butler.
Renn Butler's description of the astrological influences on May 12, 2012 are posted in the Archetypal Astrology Group forum here.
