C. G. Jung sparked a Copernican revolution with his innovative approach to psychology. The question arises, then, “Why did this innovative thinker spend the last twenty years of his intellectual life studying and writing about Christianity?" What can we learn about ourselves and the world we live in by understanding the insightful writings on the Christian tradition by this intellectual giant?
Join us for this eight week college level course and learn why Jung put so much effort into the study of the Christian religious tradition and what his discoveries mean for us today.
Christians and non-Christians alike will benefit from this comprehensive introduction to C. G. Jung’s writings on Christianity and the Christian tradition. This nine week series begins with one free introductory class, followed by eight modules that introduce you to how Jung understood the Christian tradition, and why he felt the tradition had lost much of the power over believers that it once held.
